EverShield Privacy Policy

EverShield (“we”, “us”) operates the EverShield staff application for iPhone and iPad and the public website at useevershield.com. This policy describes information practices for both. It is written to match current product behavior. It is not a claim that we never collect, share, or process personal information.

The mobile app is for EverShield employees and approved sales representatives. Homeowners do not create accounts in the app. Homeowners may contact us through this website.

Who this policy covers

• Staff users of the EverShield app (administrators and sales representatives).
• Homeowners and other visitors who submit forms or email us from the website.
• Customers whose information staff enter into the app as part of quoting and service work.

Information we collect

Staff accounts

When a representative signs in, we collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Account identifiers (user ID)
• Sign-in method (email and password, Google, or Apple)
• Account status (pending, approved, or disabled) and role
• Authentication session information stored on the device so the user stays signed in

Customer and job records entered by staff

Staff may enter information about homeowners and properties, including:

• Customer name, email address, and phone number
• Property address and related location coordinates from geocoding
• Roof and property details used for quotes
• Assessment notes, quotes, appointments, contracts, and service history
• Payment status and amounts associated with a job

Roof imagery and user content

• Satellite and aerial imagery processed through mapping and solar-analysis providers to estimate roof area and related measurements.
• Property images and contract signatures that staff upload or capture, when those features are used. The app currently requests camera and photo-library permissions on iOS, so photos may be collected if a representative uses those tools.

Payments

The app can collect a one-time job payment through Stripe. Card numbers and similar payment credentials are collected and processed by Stripe, not stored in the EverShield app database. EverShield stores payment status, amounts, and Stripe-related identifiers needed to operate billing and refunds.

Website forms

If you request a roof assessment, support, or a privacy action on this website, we collect the fields you submit. Typical assessment fields include name, phone, email, property address, city, state, ZIP, roof age and type if provided, leak history, preferred contact method, preferred assessment time, referral source, and notes.

Customer-support communications

We collect the content of emails and support form messages you send us.

Device and usage information

We use session storage required to keep staff signed in. We do not currently include a separate analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or push-notification SDK in the app. Device or diagnostic information may still be processed by Apple, Google, or hosting providers as part of operating system, sign-in, or infrastructure services.

The app does not collect continuous GPS from the device. Property locations come from addresses staff enter and from geocoding or satellite services.

How we collect information

• Directly from staff during sign-in and while using the app.
• Directly from website visitors who submit forms or email us.
• From service providers that process addresses, imagery, payments, email, or authentication on our behalf.

Why we use information

We use this information to:

• Authenticate staff and manage account approval
• Create quotes, store customer records, and schedule work
• Process payments and refunds
• Send transactional email such as quotes and payment notices
• Respond to assessment, support, and privacy requests
• Produce internal operations and sales reports
• Maintain security and prevent unauthorized access

This information is linked to staff users and, where applicable, to the homeowners and properties in those records. We do not currently use app data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Sharing and service providers

We share information with service providers that help us operate EverShield:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage
• Stripe — payment processing
• Mapbox and Google — address geocoding and satellite or solar imagery used in estimates
• OpenAI — may process roof imagery or related inputs when staff run an AI estimate
• Resend — transactional email
• Netlify — website hosting and form submissions
• Apple and Google — sign-in if a staff user chooses those buttons

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect EverShield or others, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

Staff account information is kept while the account is active. If a staff user deletes their account in the app, the login and staff profile are removed. Customer and job records already created for the company are retained so work in progress and business records are not lost. Website form submissions are retained as needed to respond to the request and for ordinary business records. Payment and tax-related records may be kept longer when we have a legitimate operational or legal reason to do so.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and hosted infrastructure with authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

Staff can review this policy and delete their own app account under Settings. Homeowners and other individuals can request access, correction, deletion, or communication-preference changes through Privacy Choices or by emailing hello@useevershield.com. Rights vary by location. We will explain if a request cannot be completed in full because of legal or operational limits.

Children

The app and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product or our practices change. The “Last Updated” date at the top will change when we do.
